Our Story

Founded in 2021, AASC was born from a vision to address the critical challenge of youth unemployment in Morocco.

Our Beginning

The African Association for Solidarity and Change (AASC) was established in response to the growing number of young people in Morocco who are not in education, employment, or training (NEET). With approximately 1.7 million NEETs in the country, our founders recognized the urgent need for innovative solutions.

Starting with a small team of dedicated professionals from education, hospitality, and social work backgrounds, AASC launched its first training program in Marrakech, focusing on the hospitality sector—a key driver of the local economy.

Growth & Impact

Since our founding, AASC has grown significantly in both scope and impact. Our partnership with Park Hyatt Marrakech through the RiseHY initiative marked a major milestone, creating direct pathways for our participants to access quality employment opportunities.

Today, AASC continues to expand its programs and partnerships, with plans to extend our reach to additional cities in Morocco. Our success is measured not just in numbers but in the transformed lives of the young people we serve.
