About RiseHY

RiseHY is Hyatt's global program designed to empower opportunity youth by providing them with the skills, training, and employment opportunities in the hospitality industry.

The Global Initiative

Launched globally by Hyatt Hotels Corporation, RiseHY aims to hire 10,000 opportunity youth by 2025 across Hyatt properties worldwide. The program focuses on young people aged 16-24 who are neither in school nor employed, providing them with a pathway to sustainable careers in hospitality.

Through RiseHY, Hyatt is committed to understanding the barriers that young people face and helping them overcome these challenges through skills training, mentorship, and employment opportunities.

RiseHY in Morocco

Since 2023, AASC has partnered with Park Hyatt Marrakech to implement the RiseHY initiative in Morocco. This collaboration creates a direct pathway for NEET youth to access quality training and employment opportunities in leading hospitality brands.

The program in Morocco focuses on addressing the specific challenges faced by local youth, including language barriers, lack of formal education, and limited access to professional networks. Through tailored training and mentorship, participants develop both technical and soft skills needed for success in the hospitality industry.

The 5 Core Training Modules

French Communication

Professional vocabulary, conjugation, presentation skills, and workplace communication in French.

English Language

Practical courses and hospitality-specific vocabulary in English for guest interactions.

Time Management

Punctuality, organization, planning, and managing daily activities effectively.

Soft Skills Development

Gratitude, mindfulness, stress management, and interpersonal communication skills.

Personal Project Development

Goal setting, motivation techniques, career planning, and continuous coaching support.

Program Timeline

Application & Selection (1 month)

Candidates apply and go through a selection process that includes interviews and assessments to identify motivation and potential.

Foundation Training (2-3 months)

Participants receive 60+ hours of intensive training in soft skills, language proficiency (French & English), and hospitality fundamentals through an innovative pedagogical approach.

Specialized Department Training (1 month)

Focused training in specific hotel departments based on participant interests and hotel needs.

Internship (3-6 months)

Hands-on experience working in Park Hyatt Marrakech with mentorship from department leaders and continuous coaching support.

Evaluation & Employment

Performance evaluation and potential job offer for successful participants, with options for CDI (permanent contract) or CDD (fixed-term contract with potential for conversion).

Who is eligible for the RiseHY program?

The program is designed for young people aged 18-24 who are not currently in education, employment, or training (NEET). No prior hospitality experience is required, but candidates should demonstrate motivation and a willingness to learn.

Is there a cost to participate?

No, the RiseHY program is completely free for participants. All training materials and resources are provided at no cost.

What types of positions are available?

Participants can train for various roles including front desk, food and beverage service, housekeeping, culinary, and more. Placement depends on both participant interests and hotel needs.

Is employment guaranteed after completing the program?

While employment is not guaranteed, successful completion of the program significantly increases your chances of securing a position at Park Hyatt Marrakech or other hospitality establishments. The program has a high placement rate for graduates.

What language skills are required?

Basic proficiency in either French or English is helpful but not required. Language training is included as part of the program to help participants develop the communication skills needed for the hospitality industry.
